All 4th concerts are family-friendly and offer a “Little Ones in the Lobby” area for our youngest audience members.

2020-2021 Season

Due to the continuing Covid-19 restrictions, 4th Wall Music has collaborated with incredibly talented musicians and professionals to film and record virtual concerts to be enjoyed safely from home.

Music of 1945: Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the End of WW2 in music – On May 8, 1945, World War II finally came to an end. Voices of celebration, of mourning, and of change could be heard around the world. The sound still resonates today, captured in the music of that time.

2019-2020 Season

Musicians in their Living Room – Throughout the Spring and Summer, local musicians digitally “opened their doors” to let you know how they were keeping busy and what they had to share during the first months of Covid-19 restrictions.

Artist Unmasked: Clara Schumann – A monumentally inspirational figure in the history of music. Letters between Clara and Robert read aloud by actors from Windsor Feminist Theatre.

Jazz Fusion: The Third Stream – The Maverick and the Straight Laced? Look beyond labels in this program that brings the two together. Pianist Mike Karloff with jazz trio, WSO flutist, Liesel Deppe, and more.

Fight to the Fiddle – A four string face off between the classical violin and the traditional fiddle. Local heavyweights Kenneth MacLeod and Tino Popovic in a battle of bow, beat and spirit. Bagpipes included!

Baroque in Time – Europe 1600-1750. Wake up to a time of lavish kings, brutal plagues, gravity discovered, religious wars waged. Join the Nota Bene Baroque Players, a recorder aficionado and in-costume dancers from the U of W School of Dramatic Art.

Lullabies for little Ones – In collaboration with Kordazone Theatre. An evening of music stories and snacks for parents and tots

Artist Unmasked: A Musician’s Story – Local classical musicians open up for a discussion about music and life

Celebrating Black Composers – Irene Moore Davis discusses the influence of music on Windsor’s rich and diverse history. Outreach concert at Amherstburg Freedom Museum

Music of Nature – Richard Wyma from Essex Region Conservation Authority shares images and info. Flute, viola, harp, and Soprano. Outreach concert at Hillman Marshes

2017-2018 Season

Music of the North – Experience the soundscape of the north. A short film presented by WIFF, Windsor Classic Choral, string quartet/electronics.

Artist Unmasked: Debussy – The composer who painted with sound. Draw to music with historical insight by Jaclyn Meloche from the AGW.

Harmonies and Hors d’Oeuvres – Food is an art too! Taste and listen at this table seated event led by chef Michael Stephen-Hughes.

Prohibition and Pipes – Bringing to life a refurbished organ originally located in a local rumrunner’s mansion. Insight by author Mary Gervais.Dynamics of Dance- Paring up with boundary-breaking local dance company HNM to explore improvisation in music and movement.

2016-2017 Season

Music Without Borders – Turkey, Syria, Armenia, Greece, Canada…clarinet, strings, tamouriza and special guests “Light of the East” ensemble. Outreach program presented to families at New Canadian’s Centre for Excellence

Trumpets Black and Blue – So many colours and moods from just one instrument! Join Ross Turner, Bob Zazecash and jazz combo.Love of Music/ Music of Love- Windsor’s own married musician couples perform and discuss the music of inspiration, devastation…..of love!

Artist Unmasked: Mozart – Meet the musical prodigy Mozart. Learn from Dr. Rob Nelson what his time sounded, felt and even smelled like.

Storytelling and Music – Collaborating with Abriged Opera Company and Kordazone Theatre to present the enchanting opera Hansel and Gretel.

2015-2016 Season

Pluck, Strum and Slide – Featuring the Guitar from classical to blues, tango to pop performed by Windsor’s own talent.

Artist Unmasked: Beethoven – Cellist Andrew McIntosh and pianist Rob Conway get up close and personal with this musical genius

The Big Bang – Get in touch with your inner pulse and share a common rhythm. Featuring drum set, drum circle, marimba and more!

A little Italy – Travel to Italy and be serenaded at this table seated event, embraced by Italian music, food from “La Zingara”, & wine.

The Sound/Mind Stretch – Experience the healing power of music as Kelly White from “Breathe” leads yoga to live music on stage.

2014-2015 Season

Words and Music – In collaboration with Bookfest Windsor, poet Tom Dillworth joins musicians to weave together poetry and music

Bow and Brush – Artists Nadine Marais and Vaughn Benateau paint an original artwork to the music of strings in front of the audience
